Mwanaidi Omary

one of the many community member’s whose life was changed thanks to Relate Water.  Mwanaidi is a 50 year old mother of 5 children from Choka village,Tanzania shares:

"Previously, I had to wake up at 5 a.m. every morning to fetch water from local wells or the river. As a woman, I carried the burden of this task alone due to tradition, leaving little time for household chores and farming. Water scarcity meant that we did not have enough water for essential tasks like brick-making, constructing latrines or decent housing. However, with the introduction of this water project, everything has changed. We now have access to safe, reliable water nearby, freeing up my time and improving our quality of life. My family is delighted to consume clean water, bathe regularly, and enjoy improved health without stomach diseases or skin rashes. We are immensely grateful to Stacy and David for this water project and its positive impact on our lives.”

Idrisa Ally Kiliga

one of the many community member’s whose life was changed thanks to Relate Water.  Idrisa is a 35 year old father of 2 children, shares:

"Water in our village changed my life and brought many opportunities. Since November last year, I started using the water for gardening. I planted onions, cabbage, spinach, okra, and eggplant. Now, I am preparing a plot for tomatoes. From my garden, I earn at least 300,000 Tanzanian Shillings when I sell the produce. Before, this was not possible because water was far and not enough. I use this money to buy school supplies for my children and take care of my household. Thank you for this gift!”
